Businesswomen forced to add ‘Mrs’ to their LinkedIn names

Two businesswomen claim they have been forced to add ‘Mrs’ to her name on LinkedIn in a bid to put off ‘creepy’ men who repeatedly try to use the networking site to ‘hit on’ her.

Alyssa Hill, 24, from San Diego, California, claims many men are using the employment-orientated social networking website like a dating app and says she has received numerous messages from would-be suitors calling her ‘beautiful’.

The client engagement specialist says she is also often asked out to dinner by men who aren’t even in the same industry as her.
