Erdem X H&M launch causes website to crash while eBay is flooded with pieces

We were told of the collection in July and introduced to the pieces in October, but it seems even the most thorough preparation couldn’t account for the influx of shoppers this morning.

Launching at 9am, the website experienced its first inevitable crash slightly earlier than even us seasoned collaboration shoppers expected at just 9:02am.

The holding page read “ERDEM x H&M – We are here for you!”

“The Erdem X H&M collection is launching and you might experience a fashionable waiting time.”

“However, we will do our best to serve you as soon as possible.”

Reappearing – and frequently disappearing – shortly after, many shoppers got their sartorial fix with a number of the items having now sold out.

But despite the fact that several items remain in stock, eBay currently boasts a host of the collection’s hero pieces at more than double the price.

The sequinned slip dress that originally retailed at £149.99 is being sold for £400.

A popular floral hoodie sold this morning for £69.99 is now on eBay for £140.

To get your hands on the remaining collection at its original price, visit the H&M website here
