  • Great generic battery

I've now bought 2 of these and they work great for my Canon XA camcorders with over 190min of shooting time per battery charge

  • Mlilizeli Rambau Digital Media

This battery performs better than the original. This battery is accepted by my canon xa60 and 65 series. Other batteries are rejected.
    Strongly recommend this purchase

  • Compatible with Canon XF400 Camcorder

First ordered just one battery, to see if it is fully compatible with my Canon XF400. Got the battery and did full charge and discharge cycle to calibrate the battery level software, and this battery does indeed give the full remaining battery life prediction, like the original canon battery, so they are fully decoded. I know some of the other 3rd party batteries does not give the battery remaining figure. I have ordered 2 more now, as the one I have performs well for the last week I had it. If it works with the bigger XF400, I believe it should work with every other Canon camcorder that uses the BP-828.

  • Awesome find

Like the other reviews, I too was very skeptical about this battery. I own a Canon XA-15 and it won't work with some of the other clone batteries. This one is no problem, works flawless. Probably going to buy another one soon as these batteries are leaving the market.

  • What a battery!

I was doubtful in the beginning about buying this battery but my doubts were allayed when I started using it, it performed so well that if I had cash I would buy another one. Good for Load Shedding and would definitely recommend.

  • I found the needle in the haystack!

As most of us know, aftermarket batteries are often rejected by equipment as not OEM Charging is often a problem too, but this battery does not have any of those problems! I delayed my review for a while so as to make sure it stood the acid test. I have done at least twenty problem-free charge-and-use cycles with it!

From the first charge to the most recent, I have only had joy with this product. Both my CANON cameras, but different models, did not bat an eye at this wonderful battery.

If you need a BP828 buy THIS one!

12 Sept 23 Almost a year later, and I bought my second BP828 battery. Of course I was nervous about it being rejected, but that was not necessary, the battery also works perfectly!
