Muse Jam Portable 5W Bluetooth Speaker with IP67 Rating & 10-Hour Battery

Music that goes where you go, built to survive the day

The Muse Jam Portable Bluetooth Speaker | M-320 BT is built for everyday listeners who want their music to follow them around without the constant worry of fragile electronics or dead batteries. Whether you're cooking in the kitchen, relaxing in the garden, sitting by the pool, or heading out for a picnic, the Jam delivers clear audio in a compact, durable package that weighs just 220g. The IP67 rating means it's fully protected against dust and can survive being submerged in up to 1 metre of water for 30 minutes, so splashes, rain, and sandy beach bags won't kill it. The 10-hour battery life covers a full day's listening without interruption, and the 5W output fills a room or outdoor space with sound without needing mains power. Pair it via Bluetooth with any smartphone, tablet, or laptop, or plug in a USB stick loaded with MP3 files and leave your phone behind entirely. For those who want a wider soundstage, stereo pairing links two Jam speakers wirelessly for left-right channel separation, turning a single portable speaker into a proper stereo setup for films, music, or gaming.

IP67 protection for real-world durability
The IP67 rating is the headline feature here, and it matters because this is the level of protection that actually survives everyday accidents. Poolside splashes, rain showers, dusty camping trips, or even dropping the speaker in shallow water won't damage it. The charging port cover keeps water out when closed, so you can use it outdoors without constantly checking the weather forecast. This isn't a speaker you need to baby or keep on a shelf; it's designed to go wherever you do and come back intact.

10-hour battery life without daily charging anxiety
The 2000mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivers up to 10 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, which covers a full day outdoors, a week of commutes, or several evenings of background music at home. You're not tethered to a charger or hunting for a power socket every few hours. When it does need topping up, the USB-C charging port means you can borrow a cable from any recent phone, tablet, or power bank, reducing cable clutter and making it easier to charge on the go.

Bluetooth pairing and USB playback for flexibility
Pair the Jam with any Bluetooth-enabled device within a 10m range, which lets you leave your phone in one room while the speaker plays in another. The connection is stable across typical home distances, so you're not glued to the speaker or dealing with dropouts. If you'd rather save your phone's battery or avoid pairing altogether, plug a USB flash drive loaded with MP3 files into the USB port and the speaker plays them directly, no phone or tablet required. This is particularly useful for outdoor listening when you don't want to drain your phone, or for sharing a playlist at a gathering without handing over your device.

Hands-free calling and stereo pairing
The built-in microphone switches the speaker to speakerphone mode automatically when a call comes in, so you can answer, talk, and hang up without stopping the music or reaching for your phone. This is handy when you're cooking, working in the garage, or relaxing in the garden and don't want to interrupt what you're doing. For those who want a wider soundstage, stereo pairing links two M-320 BT speakers wirelessly for left and right channel separation, creating a proper stereo setup for films, music, or gaming without extra cables. Each speaker is sold separately, so you'll need to purchase a second unit if you want to use this feature, but the option is there for those who might gift a second unit later or use it for a small party.

Compact, lightweight, and built for portability
At 220g, the Jam weighs less than a mug of tea and fits in a jacket pocket or small bag without adding noticeable weight or taking up space. The compact dimensions (81.8mm high, 49.2mm wide, 101.5mm long) make it easy to slip into a daypack for a hike, beach trip, or weekend away. The 5W output delivers clear audio across a room without distortion at typical listening volumes, filling a kitchen, bedroom, or garden with sound without needing mains power. This isn't a party speaker designed to fill a hall, but it's more than adequate for background music, podcasts, or calls in small spaces or outdoors.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Can I use this speaker in the shower or by the pool?
A: Yes. The IP67 rating means it's fully protected against dust and can survive being submerged in up to 1 metre of water for 30 minutes. Poolside splashes, rain, or even dropping it in shallow water won't damage it. Just make sure the charging port cover is closed before exposing it to water.

Q: How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
A: Charging time isn't specified in the documentation, but with a 2000mAh battery and USB-C charging, expect around 2 to 3 hours from flat to full using a standard USB charger. You can check the battery status via the indicator light on the speaker.

Q: Do I need to buy a second speaker to use stereo pairing?
A: Yes. Stereo pairing links two M-320 BT speakers wirelessly to create left and right channel separation. Each speaker is sold separately, so you'll need to purchase a second unit if you want to use this feature.

Q: Can I answer phone calls through the speaker?
A: Yes. The hands-free function automatically switches the speaker to speakerphone mode when a call comes in. You can answer, talk and hang up without touching your phone, as long as it's paired via Bluetooth.

Q: What file formats does the USB playback support?
A: The USB port plays MP3 files directly from a standard USB flash drive. Other formats aren't listed in the specifications, so stick to MP3 for guaranteed compatibility.

Q: Does the speaker come with a mains charger?
A: No. The box includes a USB-C charging cable, but not a mains plug adapter. You can charge it using any USB power adapter (phone charger, laptop USB port, or power bank) that you already own.
